Ronaldinho, one of the world football’s spectacular soccer footballers has been going through dire financial distress. Ever since he became a professional, Ronaldinho has been known to lead a lavish life and extreme partying. The reason he didn't last long at FC Barcelona was because he simply didn't want to keep making the effort required to remain at the very top. Once he won the Ballon d'Or, he felt his promise to his late father was fulfilled.

According to reports came out in The Sun, the Brazilian legend has lost almost all of his money because he owes millions in taxes to the authorities from his country. 

The Sun reports that the Brazilian IRS attempted to collect what he owed from his bank accounts and found nothing. After that, they decided to seize two of his properties and left him with almost nothing. This report suggests the authorities were only able to find $6 in his bank accounts.

If this is true, Ronaldinho is following the path of other soccer legends such as Garrinchaor Paul Gascoigne. Both of them also ended with almost no money and struggled to enjoy life after retirement. 

In Gazza's case, the English footballer currently has a net worth of only $500,000 as of 2023. Amidst this recent development in Ronaldinho's finances, the report suggests he is completely bankrupt.
