Legendary Brazilian footballer Ronaldinho met Mamata Banerjee, the state's Chief Minister at her residence in Kalighat on Monday afternoon. The CM presented him a ball. However, following an invitation from CM, representatives from Kolkata's three big clubs were also present there to give Ronaldinho jerseys of their respective teams. 

However, Mohammedan Sporting secretary Ishtiaque Ahmed invited the World Cup-winning Brazilian striker to visit the club while presenting him the jersey. Ishtiaque Ahmed said, "Ronaldinho said he is already aware of the legacy Kolkata's three big clubs possess. He also said he will visit the club if he gets time amidst his busy schedule." 

Ronaldinho is in the city on a three-day visit and he is scheduled to attend several functions. He is also scheduled to take part in an exhibition match for 20 minutes in Maheshtala on Tuesday. Ronaldinho is also expected to tour to Bangladesh from Kolkata.
