Brazilian Super Star is preparing to stage a Worldwide Street Soccer League to bring up young talents.
Brazilian veteran Super Star Ronaldinho is launching a Worldwide Street Soccer League with a view to providing opportunities for young talents to display their skills. With success in the game, they can even experience stardom.
Organizers of Ronaldinho Global Street League said on Saturday, the tournament is expected to start from late 2023. Initially, the best players of all ages will be filtered through a social media trial process. Interested players may upload their skills and tricks to become a part of the competition’s team.
Skills competitions and head-to-head games will be arranged internationally and to become a part of Ronaldinho Global Street Team, the teams will contest in the RGSL Champions League title.
While announcing his venture former Barcelona Star said, “We believe there is a massive value in the space and a lifetime opportunity to support the players of the future.” The location and timings of the league have not been shared yet.
To launch the league, Ronaldinho has come in collaboration with his brother Roberto de Assis Moreira, who is a sports agent and co-founder of Mike Tyson’s Legends League Sophie Watts.
Moreira said, “We were brought up in a most unprivileged community in Brazil. We know best the power of street football in empowering youth and are fully dedicated to supporting and discovering street soccer players around the world through RGSL.”
