Cristiano Ronaldo has hinted about his retirement saying that the legendary footballer doesn't have 'much time left'. CR7 also asserted that awards and individual honors are 'not important' for him at this stage of his career.

Cristiano Ronaldo hinted about his retirement. The football legend has stated, he doesn’t have 'much time left'. CR7 further stated that the individual honours and awards don’t have much importance at this stage of his career. 

Even at the crucial age of 39, he is not showing any signs of stopping whatsoever. The forward netted his 8th goal for the team, advancing Al Nassr for a 2-1 win over Al Rayyan, on Monday, at an AFC Champions League fixture. 

While conversing about the Portuguese player’s future, he hinted - “I'm just enjoying playing football now as I know I don't have much time left on the pitch. It is not important to me now to be the best player or to win awards. What is important to me now is to enjoy and help my team,".

"Records are part of me and I'm used to breaking them. I've felt pressure since the first day and I think I will feel it until the last," Ronaldo added.

Ronaldo’s contract with Al Nassr is set to expire at the end of this season, it’s still a suspense if he desires to extend the deal or he will decide to represent Portugal at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
