Cristiano Ronaldo may be reunited with his former Manchester United teammate Alex Telles.  Al-Nassr is heavily linked with Telles who is now surplus in the Manchester United team.

The Brazilian defender was recruited by Manchester from Porto in 2020. In this season he was taken on a loan by Sevilla who knocked out United in the European League quarter-finals.

United have Luke Shaw as a left-back in the starting lineup. They also have Tyrell Malacia and academy talent Brandon Williams as their left-back. This has made Telles look for a transfer from the Premier League giant team this summer. Telles’s four-year deal has still a year to go but Al-Nasser apparently does not view that as a problem.

The Saudi club has spent a huge amount by signing Ronaldo with a view to improving the football profile of the Middle East. The contract of the Portuguese superstar was terminated following an explosive interview with Piers Morgan against his teammates and Ten Hag. This paved the way for Al-Nasser to recruit one of the biggest names in football.

Telles had a busy season in Spain making 35 appearances for Sevilla. His team had a 3-0 victory over Manchester United in the European League quarterfinals. He was also in the Brazilian National team. Telles move to the Saudi league may put his international career in doubt.
