Star India fast bowler Mohammed Siraj survived an injury scare on the second day of the third Test against Australia at The Gabba, Brisbane on Sunday, 15th December. Bowling his 11th over of the innings, the fast bowler seemed troubled by his knee after the second ball. Siraj stood there holding his knee while walking back to his delivery stride and was immediately attended to by the team's physiotherapist.
As a result, the India pacer had to walk back to the dressing room in the middle of the over which left Indian fans worried. His over was completed by Akash Deep as even commentators expressed concerns on Siraj's fitness. However, much to the delight of Indian fans, he returned to the field four overs later and even stopped a boundary diving to his right at mid-off giving a wide smile to Travis Head.
