Six footballers shortlisted by CF Motril for training at its academy

The footballers were scouted by UEFA Pro-license coach Miquel Vidal Flores and AFC Pro-license coach Shankar Lal Chakrabarty.

Spanish club CF Motril has finally shortlisted six footballers (four in under-17 and two in under-20) for training at the club academy. Nearly 100 young footballers appeared for a selection trial in Kolkata held on the 29th and 30th of April. The footballers were scouted by UEFA Pro-license coach Miquel Vidal Flores and AFC Pro-license coach Shankar Lal Chakrabarty.

Among the six, four footballers are below 17 years while the remaining two are from the under-20 age group. The four selected under-17 footballers are from Purulia and Nadia districts. 

These six footballers will be going to Spain for a two-week training program. The initiative was taken by Treble Sports Management and according to them, the footballers will be provided with all the facilities and services during their 15-day stay there. Even, according to Sandipta Das, director of Treble Sports Management, if any of the six footballers delivers a satisfying performance then the club can offer the contract to him for its reserve team. 

The footballers are Arijit Biswas, Premangshu Thakur, Debjit Raut, Maheswar Singh Sardar (under-17), Bishal Sutradhar, and Aniket Mondal (under-20).
