Sourav Ganguly joins Pretoria Capitals as Director for the South Africa T-20 Championship

Ganguly’s new role will see him overseeing both the Pretoria Capitals in the SA-20 and the Delhi Capitals’ women’s team in the Women’s Premier League (WPL).

Sourav Ganguly, the former India captain and BCCI President, was appointed as the Director of Cricket for the Pretoria Capitals before the South Africa T-20 League for the current season. 

This move comes afterSourav Ganguly stepped down from his role with the Delhi Capitals’ men’s team in the IPL. Recently, Sourav Ganguly joined the Pretoria Capitals camp with the first match of the tournament to be played on January 9.

The Pretoria Capitals have also made several key additions to their squad, including England all-rounder Liam Livingstone and West Indies power-hitter Evin Lewis. With new captain Rilee Rossouw and head coach Jonathan Trott at the helm, the team is gearing up for a comeback after a disappointingSA-20.
