Southern Samity once again has resumed its youth and grass route development programs in the post-COVID-19 period and preparing for participation in the under-13, 15, and 17 leagues this season.

The club’s general secretary Saurav Pal, commenting on their desire said, “We run our grass route and youth development programs at Rabindra Sarobar Stadium where 130 children starting from 5-year-old boy to the boys of 16 years old players train every Saturday and Sunday."
He added, " We have five coaches who under the guidance of chief coach Sujata Kar conduct the training program. We will again participate in the national youth leagues this season, but our key aim is to produce footballers who can settle in the mainstream of Indian football by representing I-League and ISL teams in the future."

However, Southern Samity is going to distribute clothes to nearly 550 distressed and helpless people in the surroundings of Rabindra Sarobar Stadium on 18th October at the stadium premises.
