India will begin their campaign against Japan on 19th October
PR Sreejesh has been appointed as the chief coach of India’s junior men’s hockey squad for the forthcoming Sultan of Johor Cup in Malaysia starting on 19th October.
Under the guidance of a legendary goalkeeper, the 18-member team will be captained by defender Amir Ali.
Sreejesh who bid farewell to his glorious playing career after the Paris Olympics has posted on his Instagram account writing, ‘New role, new responsibilities and obviously new challenges.’
India will begin their campaign against Japan on 19th October followed by matches against Great Britain (20th October), hosts Malaysia (22nd October), Australia (23rd October), and New Zealand on 25th October.
