Sreenidi Deccan defeated Delhi FC at the Deccan Arena as the match ended with a narrow 1-0 victory for Sreenidi Deccan, with an unfortunate own goal by Delhi FC's Bali Gagandeep in the 65th minute of the game being the difference between the two sides.

Delhi FC displayed dominated possession with a remarkable 72% control over the ball but Sreenidi Deccan came on top when they needed to and despite Delhi FC's overall dominance, an unfortunate error proved to be their downfall. Bali Gagandeep's own goal delivered the much-needed goal for Sreenidi Deccan, ultimately leading them to secure all three points from the match. 

With this victory, Sreenidi Deccan strengthened their chances in the title race as they now have 20 points from 10 matches, sitting firm at the 2nd position in the league table and looking to be a dominant force for a second consecutive season in the I-League.
