Sudeva FC to introduce 'virtual reality training system in its youth development program

Sudeva is planning to rope in a Spanish coach for the development of its youth programs.

Sudeva FC is going to introduce an advanced training system in its youth development program. The advanced training system precisely includes the developmental training of the mind which is called 'virtual reality training.'

Co-founder of Sudeva FC, Anuj Gupta when asked about the program said, "The footballers will be wearing some special types of glasses which I will have to import from abroad. These glasses will make a detailed assessment of a footballer's psychological part and also his merit which will finally help the coaches to set the guidelines for the particular footballer. This training system was applied in European football around 10 years ago. This training will be provided also for our under-20 boys. But it will not be organized continuously. There will be breaks during the season." The club is likely to appoint a trainer who will conduct the 'virtual reality' training with the footballers.

Anuj also revealed that Sudeva is planning to rope in a Spanish coach for the development of its youth programs. The Spanish coach who is presently working as the head of the youth development program of a La Liga premier team, will come to India and work with Sudeva FC for around three months. Anuj who is also the president of the Delhi Football Association (DFA) divulged, "The Spanish coach will conduct training of the juniors, scout their potential and if anybody impresses him then he might take the respective footballer to even Europe for training."

However, before their maiden appearance in the final of Reliance under-21 Youth League on Sunday in Mumbai, Sudeva's Bhutanese coach Chencho Dorji asserted, "The boys are not feeling any mental pressure although they know they will meet defending champion Bengaluru FC. We have taken this League as the exposure of our youth footballers. So, even if we lose tomorrow we will not be bothered much. Playing as many as possible exposure matches will help them to grow."
