Swastika expects her ranking will improve after singles title in Inter-Institution TT

In the singles, Swastika defeated heavyweights like Ayhika Mukherjee, Sriya Anand, Kritwika Sinha Roy, and Sreeja Akula in the final.

Swastika emerged champion in the women’s singles category of the 51st All India Inter-Institutional Table Tennis Championships, claiming her first title in this prestigious tournament. The tournament was held in Chandigarh from 24th to 29th November. 

Along with the gold medal in singles, she also acquired a silver medal in women’s doubles, and bronze in the team event. Swastika represented the Airport Authority of India. 

In the singles, Swastika defeated heavyweights like Ayhika Mukherjee, Sriya Anand, Kritwika Sinha Roy, and Sreeja Akula in the final. Swastika’s current ranking in India is 14th and following her performance in the Inter-Institution competition she is expecting an improvement in her ranking.

Best of luck. Played to the potential. Hope to see Indian colours with women TT team. Father's die hard passion and untiring practice and participation in various tournament, showing much deserved Crown.
