The 38-year-old referee has experience of officiating matches in the I-League for around 12 years and he also was in the ISL referees' panel for five year.
Tanmoy Dhar, Bengal's one of the elite panel referees, banned from officiating matches for one year, is likely to submit an appeal to the Calcutta Referees Association (CRA), requesting the parent body of Bengal referees to reduce the suspension period.
Tanmoy received the suspension letter from CRA on Wednesday after being alleged of speaking to the media.
At the same time, former CRA secretary Udayan Halder has been banned for two years after being alleged of his constant effort to end Tanmoy’s referring career in the last couple of years.
However, the CRA constitution has an option where the accused can submit an appeal and Tanmoy is likely to avail the opportunity.
It is also believed that the 38-year-old referee who has experience of officiating matches in the I-League for around 12 years and also experience being in the ISL referees' panel for five years can get justice if he submits an appeal letter to the CRA.
Significantly, Tanmoy also plans to move to court against the suspended former CRA secretary Udayan Halder. It is learned that Tanmoy wants justice against Halder’s constant effort to end his referring career.
