Uncertainty looms large over Sergio Lobera joining either East Bengal or Odisha FC at the moment as the Spanish coach has not yet been reportedly able to convince his present Chinese club Sichuan Jiuniu's top brass to receive the No Objection Certificate (NOC). Lobera's contract with the Chinese club is scheduled to end next year. 

Even Lobera's agent in India who has also been talking to Chinese club authority hinted that it is still unclear whether the Chinese club will allow Lobera to come to India with a NOC. That is why Lobera has not also made any commitment to any of East Bengal and Odisha FC.

However, the AIFF has decided that the last round matches of Group A of the Super Cup will be played on 16th April and will be held simultaneously at two different venues. All the matches will kick off at 8.30pm. Jamshedpur FC is the first team to qualify for the semi-finals of Super Cup.
