
Noah Sadaoui and Mourtada Fall secure two goals each
FC Goa beat Odisha FC 3-2, in an exciting clash in the Indian Super League hosted in Fatorda Stadium, Goa, on Saturday.
Six minutes into the game Odisha took an early lead with the League's highest scoring defender, Mourtada Fall, who found the back of the net as he connected Puitiea's corner delivery with his right foot. Desperate to find the equaliser, Noah Sadaoui and Brandon Fernandes tried various actions to score but were unable to do that due to superb defending from Lobera's side in the rest of the first half.
In the second half of this intense match, the hosts went offensive and tried to score but they still trailed by one goal. Finally it was Noah Sadaoui who scored the desired equaliser on the 55th minute from a fantastic spot kick.
But in just a few minutes defender Mourtada Fall struck again as he scored with comfortable finish from a corner for Odisha.
In response, Noah Sadaoui secured another goal for the Gaurs with a perfect right footed delivery as he grabbed the miss pass from Jerry at their defensive half which brought the scoreline to a tie.
Finally in the last two minutes, Jay Gupta found the back of the net with his stunning world-class inswinger finish which sealed the victory for FC Goa.
