The player transfer deal will increase Dortmund’s earning even if they lose the final!

Following the transfer clause between Bellingham and Madrid, the Spanish giant will have to pay an additional 20 million along with a fixed 103 million to Dortmund if Madrid wins the Champions League final.

Borussia Dortmund will earn more than the champion even if they lose the Champions League final against Real Madrid on 1st June at Wembley. 

The reason is the young English midfielder Jude Bellingham. Bellingham is a former Dortmund player who is representing Madrid. According to the renowned German sports newspaper, Bild, following the transfer clause between Bellingham and Madrid, the Spanish giant will have to pay an additional 20 million along with a fixed 103 million to Dortmund if Madrid wins the Champions League final. 

The prize money for the Champions League winner is 20 million. Naturally, if Dortmund loses then the club will receive 15 million for being the runners-up and an additional 20 million which will be 35 million in total!
