The derby match between East Bengal and Mohun Bagan in the Reliance Foundation Youth League regional qualifier ended in a goalless draw on Wednesday at Naihati Stadium. 

In this under-21 age group football match Mohun Bagan had possession over their opposition most of the time. But despite creating a few chances the green-and-maroon brigade were deprived of goals due to the failure of their upfront. 

All their five shots on target were thwarted by the opposition custodian. Even, one of their strikes, launched by Serto was cancelled by the referee. 

Even though sharing points Mohun Bagan qualified for the next round from the eastern zone. After completing five matches Mohun Bagan gathered 11 points while East Bengal have garnered eight points after playing same number of matches. Diamond Harbour FC and Odisha FC have secured full points in their respective matches in the same group.
