The U-20 Indian Women Will Play Friendlies in Türky

The Young Tigresses will face the SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship, scheduled for July 2025.

The India U-20 women’s football team is set to play three friendly matches during the FIFA International Match Window in February in Antalya, Türkiye.

Under the guidance of head coach Joakim Alexandersson, the Young Tigresses, currently training at a preparatory camp in Bengaluru, will take on 19th February in Jordan, Hong Kong on 22nd February, and lastly Russia on 25th February. These matches will serve as a critical platform for the team to assess their progress and gain valuable international experience.

The Young Tigresses are gearing up for an intense season ahead, with the SAFF U-20 Women’s Championship, scheduled for July 2025, and the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers in August 2025.

 The exposure from these friendlies will not only bolster their preparations for these key tournaments but also help the squad gain confidence while facing strong international opponents.
