United Sports Club acquired a convincing 8-0 victory against Calcutta Football Club in their CFL Premier Division match at Chinsura ground on Tuesday. Dipesh Murmu scored four including the hat-trick, Rohming Thanga, Sujal Munda Tarak Hembram, and Subrata Murmu scored one goal each. 

The club's director, Nabab Bhattacharya said, "They needed the scoreline to gain confidence. We have lost or drawn the matches in the ongoing League due to the missed chances. We deserved to win those matches." United SC has garnered seven points in their four matches so far. 

In other CFL match on the day Army Red earned a thrilling 3-2 victory against spirited Southern Samity. Liton Shil, the striker from North-Bengal scored the hat-trick. Southern Samity even trailing 1-3 bounced back and equalized the score-line via Debjit Basak and Rajesh Rajbhar before Liton sealed their fate by scoring the third one.

In another match in the CFL, Tollygunge Agragami shared points playing out a 2-2 draw against FCI on the day. Sheikh Asiruddin and Altamash scored for FCI while Sourav Manna and Mithun Mondol scored for FCI.
