Veterans’ Sports Club lifted the Champion’s trophy (Paritosh Chakraborty Memorial Cup) defeating Mohammedan Sporting Club by 2-1 in the final of the nursery football tournament at Mohammedan Sporting Ground. Mohammedan Sporting received the runner-up trophy, the Sushil Bhattacharya Memorial Cup. 

The tournament was organized by the Veterans' Sports Club. The winner won a cash prize of Rs 10 thousand and the runner-up received Rs 8 thousand. 

Former India international footballers like Goutam Sarkar, Bhaskar Ganguly, Subrata Bhattacharjee, Bikash Panji, Manas Bhattacharjee,  Dipendu Biswas were present in the final. Executives from the Jishnu Foundation and Krishna-Charita Eco home were also present in the prize-distribution function.
