Virat Kohli is still really hungry to score more runs, says Vikram Rathour after 50th ODI hundred

Rathour said Kohli understands his game and the management just helps him prepare.

India batting coach Vikram Rathour said superstar batter Virat Kohli is still really hungry to score more runs following his record-breaking 50th ODI century against New Zealand in the semi-final of ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

Speaking after India’s win in Mumbai Rathour said Kohli understands his game and the management just helps him prepare. Kohli broke the legendary Sachin Tendulkar’s record by smashing his 50th ODI hundred against the Kiwis. “Kohli understands his cricket and we just help him prepare. If he needs to ask anything he comes and asks, otherwise we let him be. He knows what he has to do now, that he needs to get in the right mind-space and he is in a good mind space. He bats the way he wants to,” said Rathour.
