In an interview with the news18 network Prime Minister Narendra Modi touched every sports lover's emotion today by saying  “The age-old dream for India, this is the dream of the 140 crore (1.4 billion) Indians." on the hosting bid of the Olympics in 2036 along with Indonesia, Mexico, and Poland. 
At the opening ceremony of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) session in Mumbai Narendra Modi said, "I had gone to watch the Olympics in Atlanta. I have formed a team and told them to go as observers to all these events and study the details. After the G20 Summit hosted by India last year, now we are confident that Bharat has the potential to host such global events".
