"We now have momentum" warns Rizwan ahead of India vs Pakistan

The centurion appreciates the crowd for supporting cricket as they cheered for both Pakistan and Sri Lanka

Pakistan started their ODI World Cup campaign on a positive note with 2 wins. Pakistan keeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan produced a  resounding sound on Tuesday which the cricket world would remember for a long time. He registered an unbeaten knock of 131 runs to take his team home against a tough opponent, Sri Lanka.

At the post match press conference, Rizwan seemed confident of Pakistan's victory in the match against India set to be in Ahmedabad. He said, "We now have momentum. Tomorrow, our next match, everyone knows that it is with India, but they will also come with a plan, we will also come with a plan".

Pakistan could perform comfortably at Hyderabad in both of  their games, and were well appreciated by the audience in their first ever visit to India since the 2016 World Cup. "And where you talked about Hyderabad, I felt like I was playing a match in Pindi. The way the crowd gave love today, and not just me, the whole Pakistan team gave love. In fact, they supported Sri Lanka too. Because I am happy that the crowd in Hyderabad has supported cricket, both Sri Lanka and us. I had a lot of fun with them," Rizwan said.

The talented player revealed that not only did they celebrate with the ground staff after the match but also he had an interesting conversation with the curator in Hyderabad. ”When we got to the ground for the first time, he said, Rizwan, you must hit two 100s on this ground. I met him today as well. We can pray for him and you should pray for him too," Rizwan said.
