Aditya Patra, the East Bengal custodian, who gave a match-saving display in the previous Derby match, is all set to be under the bars in the match against Mohan Bagan in Reliance Youth Development tournament on Friday 7th at the Naihati Stadium. East Bengal coach Bino George said in an interview with Parallel Sports said “ Aditya was injured in the match against Mohan Bagan since then he was not playing but now he is fit to play the derby”.
Despite this, the team is facing trouble as few of the players are still injured and they may not be available from the beginning. On the other hand, a couple of players had already gone to Kerala with the Senior team to represent in the Super Cup which added worry to coach Bino George. He said that the team will try to give its best performance on the field and he is trying to encourage them although he has to keep a watch on the injured players. Everything will be decided at Friday's team meeting.
East Bengal coach admitted that Mohan Bagan is a tuff opponent. He added “ They are a very hard opponent moreover against us they field few ISL players. Although we have a few ISL-experienced players those will not be available in this match probably. So we have to try hard to give our best in the field.”
In spite of the fact that his team has lost the last two matches still, Bino George is keeping faith in his boys.
