Indian basketball is set to enter a professional era with the launch of the Indian National Basketball League (INBL). Following the global buzz around leagues in the USA, Australia, and New Zealand, India now has its very own platform to elevate the sport. The INBL was officially unveiled on Wednesday at a grand event in Delhi, sparking excitement across the basketball community.

The league kicks off on 15th January, spanning six Indian cities, with the aim of taking talented young players to the international stage. Top performers in the INBL will earn a chance to train with the Panthers, one of New Zealand's leading basketball teams, offering them invaluable exposure.

Adding to the excitement, the semifinals and finals of this groundbreaking tournament will be hosted in Dubai, further emphasising its international vision.
