Woes continue for Bengaluru FC as they face a 2-0 defeat against Chennaiyin

In a disappointing turn of events, Bengaluru FC suffered yet another defeat in their latest encounter against Chennayin FC, resulting in a final score of 2-0. It was an evening riddled with penalties, as both teams were awarded spot kicks, but it was the clinical finishing from Rafael Crivellaro and Jordan Murray that ultimately secured the victory for Chennayin FC.

The match kicked off with an early blow for Bengaluru FC as Crivellaro successfully converted a penalty in the 6th minute, giving Chennayin an early advantage. Despite several attempts from Bengaluru to equalize, Chennayin's defense remained resolute, denying any breakthrough for their opponents.

The second half saw another penalty being awarded, this time in favor of Chennayin FC. Jordan Murray stepped up to the spot and confidently slotted the ball into the back of the net, doubling their lead in the 50th minute. Adding to the disappointment, Bengaluru FC were left frustrated as they were denied a possible penalty but Chennayin FC's solid defending and clinical finishing ensured that the match slipped away from the grasp of Bengaluru FC. 

With this victory, Chennayin FC are now in 6th position in the league table, accumulating a total of 12 points. On the other hand, Bengaluru FC finds themselves in 9th place with just 7 points and two consecutive defeats.
