IFA is going to start Kolkata women’s football league Kanyasree Cup from 5th October. The women’s committee of the state football’s ruling body has decided in a meeting held on Monday that 16 teams will take part in the upper division of the league. The association has also decided to seek consents from the participating clubs within next three days regarding the decision.

East Bengal won the Kanyasree Cup last season.
